Royal Diadem has a spacious, comfortable and welcoming library for students to enjoy quiet time reading, researching and studying. Our library is designed to inspire our students to become confident and independent learners. With a room full of resources such as hard copy books, e-books, audio-books, DVDs, magazines and the recent introduction of a student author section where students can read or borrow books written by other students in the school, there are invaluable finds for all levels and preferences.
Our library is also able to accommodate everyone due to our different work areas: from individuals who stop by to enjoy some reading during their free time to entire classes that come to learn and share. Our basic school students visit the library on a weekly basis where they spend time reading with our school librarian. Students are encouraged to return borrowed library books within a week. Whether it's a novel, or scientific fiction or something as simple as a map of the world, we are sure you will be coming back for some more knowledge.
You affect the world by what you browse Computer Laboratory
At RDS, we understand the importance of preparing our students to meet the challenges of the information age and of providing them with the tools to take advantage of it. The RDS computer laboratory is a state-of-the-art facility that houses 32 Windows-based PCs for student use. All computers are loaded with network capabilities and a wide variety of software including Microsoft Office which are applicable to all disciplines. Computers are available to students on a first-come, first-served basis, and priority is given to those completing class assignments or research. The computer lab is also home to collaborative work areas, laptop workstations with readily available power and network access, a scanner and a printer. Having difficulty building your computer skills or completing a class project? Our knowledgeable staff are available during open hours to assist you.

As soon as the bell rings for playtime, Royal Diadem’s playground is filled with energy. Squeals of delight and laughter mark a break from structured lessons as our youngsters engage in one of the most important tasks of the day – play! Our playground is opened to preschoolers at 10:30 every morning. With our playground equipment such as slides, holla loops, a basketball court and table tennis court, we can guarantee that your child would have a wonderful time on our playground. To ensure the safety of students during play time, teachers and instructional assistants supervise the playgrounds during all recesses.
Healing is a matter of time, but it takes much care Sick Bay
In a busy school like ours, every day sees its fair share of bumps and bruises. This is why a dedicated, separate sick room is an asset to us. Students who are unwell at school or suffer minor injuries are treated by a trained sick bay attendant in the school sick bay. The sickbay is fully stocked with the necessary drugs and first aid equipment to ensure that all emergencies are dealt with in the best possible way at the school. Parents are informed of any serious injury and are contacted if a doctor or hospital visit is advised.

The aim of the school's bookshop is to provide affordable books to reach out to every student and relieve parents of the burden of travelling to town in search of books. Our books are of the best quality since we have strong partnerships with trustworthy bookstores, publishers and producers.
